Tree climbing is a rite of passage for a kid. We have a japanese maple in front of our house that is the neighborhood climbing tree. Strategically placed branches let kids pull themselves up. But how many kids can say they’ve climbed to the top of an ancient oak tree without mom panicking below that they’ll fall. Here’s your chance to climb trees that remember when Atlanta was young.
