What: The Art of Disney Animation Hotel The Art of Disney Animation is the latest hotel added to the Walt Disney World value resort lodging portfolio in Orlando. Within the Art of Disney Animation are four themed hotels. The first to open has a Finding Nemo theme. Other themes that open in Summer 2012 include Cars, Lion King and Little Mermaid.  Elaborate sets make for great family photos during Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios What: Star Wars Weekends 2012 Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando is the largest gathering of Star Wars characters anywhere. The elaborate photo sets make for great one-of-a-kind photos – whether you take them with a character or just with your family. For Star Wars fans young and old, this is a fantastic, not to be missed experience. Don’t be deterred thinking it will be so crowded you can’t have a good time. In addition to our research and experience, I talked with Disney’s Gary Buchanan for this post. Gary is Disney’s self proclaimed #1 “Obi-Wanna-Be” and has worked on Star Wars Weekends for the past 10 years. Use the tips below and I assure you, the force will be with you.
If your child is wild about princesses or even just adventure, they’re going to LOVE Disney on Ice Dare to Dream. Feld Entertainment is one of my PR clients and I had the opportunity to see the show in Tampa back in August. The ice spectacular follows the storyline of three of Disney’s most lovable princesses – Tiana, Cinderella and Rapunzel. If you think it’s just a girl show because of the main characters, you’re wrong, there’s lots of adventure for boys that begins with the Shadow man’s soulful solo skate.
As you would expect, the music is spectacular, the costumes brilliant and the stage and props really bring these cinematic shows to life – something that isn’t so easy when your dealing with real life vs. digital animation.
