 The Atlanta History Center hosts Sheep to Shawl Day on April 13. Learn how those cute lambs become warm shawls. Hint: You’ll need the items on this table. This mornings Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings focused on what to do in Atlanta with kids over the next few weeks. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few activities. We were talking on set about how awesome spring is in Atlanta and how there are so many things to do and just not enough hours in the day.

 LEGOLAND Discovery Center is celebrating their first birthday with a week full of fun. Joshua, the Master Builder at LEGOLAND joined us this morning on Better Mornings. The Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta this am as all about What to do in Atlanta with Kids this weekend. It’s St. Patrick’s Day and there is a lot going on for the holiday. We’re also in the middle of March Madness with the Final Four coming to our hometown in a few weeks. So without further ado, here is what we discussed this morning.

 My Valentine’s Day started with a real knight in shining armor! Medieval Times offers a Good Night Package w/accommodations and tickets to the show. It was a fun Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta today. We had a full studio showcasing some last minute experiential gifts for Valentine’s day that you can purchase now and enjoy in the coming weeks, plus some fun activities for the entire family over the President’s Day weekend.  Looking for an off the beaten path spring break destination? Tourists have been taking their picture in these giant gator teeth for over 50 years. It’s one of the most photographed parts of Gatorland. This morning was a Field Trips with Sue morning on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta. I don’t know about you, but I’m trying to figure out what to do for spring break. Orlando is the one of the top spring break destinations for families. Although we love Walt Disney World, there are lots of other fabulously fun attractions in Orlando and we talked about a few of them. In our second hour we stayed close to home and talked about fun indoor activities that can get your crew’s blood pumping and even engage the moody tweens and teens.
