 The Atlanta History Center hosts Sheep to Shawl Day on April 13. Learn how those cute lambs become warm shawls. Hint: You’ll need the items on this table. This mornings Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings focused on what to do in Atlanta with kids over the next few weeks. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few activities. We were talking on set about how awesome spring is in Atlanta and how there are so many things to do and just not enough hours in the day.

 LEGOLAND Discovery Center is celebrating their first birthday with a week full of fun. Joshua, the Master Builder at LEGOLAND joined us this morning on Better Mornings. The Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta this am as all about What to do in Atlanta with Kids this weekend. It’s St. Patrick’s Day and there is a lot going on for the holiday. We’re also in the middle of March Madness with the Final Four coming to our hometown in a few weeks. So without further ado, here is what we discussed this morning.

 My Valentine’s Day started with a real knight in shining armor! Medieval Times offers a Good Night Package w/accommodations and tickets to the show. It was a fun Field Trips with Sue segment on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta today. We had a full studio showcasing some last minute experiential gifts for Valentine’s day that you can purchase now and enjoy in the coming weeks, plus some fun activities for the entire family over the President’s Day weekend. In all the excitement, I forgot to mention our Party Like a Rock Star giveaway. Enter to win an evening fit for a star at the Omni CNN Center Hotel.  Watch Field Trips w/Sue on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta This morning was a Field Trips with Sue day on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta.With all the snow talk this week, combine with the fact that January is Learn to Ski month, we focused our first segment of Field Trips with Sue on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta on Ski deals. For our second segment, we stayed closer to home talking about things to do in Atlanta for MLK weekend and the next two weeks. Many of these activities are Free!  CBS Better Mornings Atlanta producer Amanda Harley giving her best Charlie’s Angels pose with the new battery powered Nerf gun. We were gearing up for the holidays this morning on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta. Time to Play showcased some of the hot toys for the season and on the Field Trips with Sue segment, we focused on Things to do with the family over the Thanksgiving holiday, showcased some fun holiday favorites and anticipated the arrival of all those holiday elves with a look back at what mischief they’ve caused in the past.
