A few weeks before Christmas I was invited on a press trip to Ski Beech Mountain North Carolina. My family and I have been to Beech Mountain before, but this trip was just adults and although a lot of fun, I missed watching my kids learn to navigate the slopes, experience more snow than they’d ever seen in their lives and laugh themselves silly pushing each other down Beech Mountain’s free sledding hill. I keep looking at the calendar trying to figure out when I can go back with the kids. If skiing with the family is on your list as well, here’s what you need to know for your Ski Beech vacation.

Although I stay at different places when I go to Beech Mountain, I tend to eat at the same restaurants. Maybe that means I’ve already discovered the best locations, or maybe it just means I’m a creature of habit. Each time we go to Beech Mountain, we stay somewhere new. If there is natural snow, all the resorts offer enough room to build snowmen, have a snowball fight and generally play outside.
