  • I like these ideas, great choices. Many of them could be drive-to vacations for a lot of families and I think it’s really important to keep in mind that you don’t have to fly somewhere to have fun during the spring. thanks for sharing…

  • Thanks for including Chattanooga. It’s a great place any time of year!

Kyle, Absolutely you don’t need to fly to have fun. In fact, most people don’t ever do the wonderful activities in their own backyard. We’ve done staycastions in Atlanta where we stay at a local hotel and visit local attractions. It’s a different perspective and you never have to hear “are we there yet?”

  • Great list. Of course, we love Chattanooga. It’s so kid-friendly. It has been a while since we’ve been to Chattanooga…

Tiffany, we had a wonderful time in Chattanooga. There’s so much to see and do, we need to go back – just scratched the surface.

  • Great list. I have been to various of these places. Recently, I visited Death Valley and think that is a great option. The trip can be combined with a visit the Eastern Sierra.
