What: Experiential Father’s Day Gifts
Where: Through Great American Days
When: Order anytime – great for last minute too
Cost: Varies (all experiences are priced the same as going to the venue directly)
I recently read a synopsis of a study in the Journal of Consumer Psychology stating that if money doesn’t buy happiness, it’s because you aren’t spending it right. According to the report, to be happy with your money (and they don’t mean just millionaires), use it to purchase experiences, not things. As we approach Father’s Day, maybe forgo the new grill or the golf club and give Dad a Father’s Day Gift experience he won’t forget, like say a drive along in a race car or hang gliding. For the more academic types, maybe wine school.
Great American Days Experiential Gift Company
Not everyone has the time to shop for experiential gifts, especially the really interesting and different ones. Great American Days is an experiential gift company that’s a one-stop shopping location for a wide variety of experiences that cater to anyone. The prices are the same as going directly to the operator and a gift package with all the details including a ‘how-to book’ and ‘what happens on the day’ is included. There is no need to book the experience when you buy, the gift recipient can contact Great American Days directly and work out all the details. If the recipient doesn’t like your gift – say hang gliding isn’t for them, but wine school sounds like a blast, they can exchange it for something else without having to take anything back to the store. All of Great American Days partners are pre-selected for quality and are regularly audited to make sure the experience is all it should be. They use an independent reviewer Feefo.com. Best of all, when you purchase an experience, Great American Days will give an experience or a gift to someone in need. Last year, they provided 2000 meals to children on the Thai Burmese border and that’s just one of the causes they support.
You don’t have to purchase experiences just for gifts. Great American Days is a perfect place to plane summer outings or special vacations too. I’m a huge believer in shared experiences keeping a family close. Those experiences can be anything from a holiday tradition like Christmas cookies to more adventurous pursuits like hang gliding – which we did last month and LOVED.
Great American Days is a Field Trips with Sue advertiser and provided a giveaway and an experience for the purpose of a review. As always, the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.

Didn’t answer the question, probably the zip line tour if he couldn’t do the race car.
My husband is chafing at the bit to go fast, sitting in traffic is so annoying to him. Riding at top speed around Atlanta Motor Speedway would cancel out all that frustration!
