For all you hippies born in the wrong era, here’s a show for you. The 2009 Tony Award Winning Musical Revivial Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical is coming to Atlanta’s Fox Theatre from May 17 – 22 as part of the Broadway Across America series. You’ll recognize a lot of the songs including “Let the Sun Shine In,” “Aquarius,” “Hair,” and “Good Morning Starshine”. The show is about the birth of the cultural movement in the 60′s and 70′s that changed America. The musical follows a group of hoeful, free-spirited young people who advocate a lifestyle of pacifism and free-love in a society riddles with intolerance and brutality during the Vietnam War. The shows characters explore sexual identity, challenge racism, experiement with drugs and brun draft cards.

My mother-in-law was recently widowed and had to leave all friends behind and move in with us, it has been a long couple of months prepping getting ready and major adjustments for our now family of 5. It would be nice to share something entertaining with the whole family to get our mind off the stress we have been experiencing.
