It’s always fun to do what is contrary to the season. Play in the snow in summer, swim in the winter. Here are a couple of indoor swimming pools that are more like mini-water parks than just the standard swimming pool. If you know others, leave us a comment and let us know.

Nickelodeon Parents' Pick for Best Local Blog in Atlanta

Hey Sue, just wondering if you’ve been to the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center yet. It’s a blast! Great blog!
I have not. I’d love to hear about it and if you have pictures, please send them sue (at) fieldtripswithsue.com
I have not been, but please tell me about it and if you have pictures, send them to sue (at) fieldtripswithsue.com. Thanks!
We were passing through Atlanta and were looking for a place to play. We saw your comments and gave the South Cobb Aquatic Center a whirl (a la pool). We (mom, dad, and three kids 10 and under) had a great afternoon. What a blessing! Thanks, Sue!
Love Bogan Park, But, it’s really noisy when busy because of the acoustics. Collins Hill Aquatic Center and Rhodes Jordan are really fun during Summer. They are out doors and therefore less noisy- and Collins Hills has an indoor pool with diving boards as well as the outdoor waterpark area.
Lorie, Thanks for the inside scoop. I appreciate it.
I love to swim on fresh water swimming pools because they are great on the skin. Swimming on saltwater is kinda harsh on the skin. .*:’:
