  • Sue,
This is a nice gesture and hopefully many active duty and their families can take advantage of the opportunity.
Here is another great museum that is free to everyone year round. Located between Callaway Gardens and Westville, in Columbus is a world class museum dedicated to honoring the US Infantry soldiers’ proud 235 years of service.
Located just outside ft. Benning is the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center. It has
had almost a half million visitors since it opened in June 2009. I’m sure your day trip fans from Atlanta, Montgomery area would find the 2 hour ride (less from Macon)to Columbus well worth their time.
Check out the website or better yet plan a visit today.
