I love the fourth of July. Especially the fireworks. Here are several places in Atlanta to see fireworks, as well as participate in some all American holiday fun.

Where: City of Dahlonega
What: Festivities that include a pet show (with dogs, cats, pigs and chickens), reading of the Constitution, antique auto show, music, parade and fireworks.
When: Festivities begin at 10 am
Cost: Classic Car Show is $25
Where: Georgia State Parks
What: All American festivities such as swimming, watermelon seed spitting, sack races, relays, etc. Check out the website for specific activities at available at a park near you.
When: July 4th, times vary by park
Cost: $5 for parking, activities are free
