Pair the Mad Hatter Event with the show Looking Glass Alice at the Alliance Theater for $25
Young Audiences, a division of the Woodruff Arts Center (YAWAC), is sponsoring a morning of whimsical flair, artist performances, hands-on arts activities and sightings of the Mad Hatter and his friends. If you enjoyed last summer’s Artspalooza, this is sure to be an event for you.
The second annual Mad Hatter event features artist performances by Young Audiences Artists Eric Litwin (author of the children’s book Pete the Cat), Tip Tap Two, Laughing Matters, Karin Mervis and Marty Barrett. In addition to performances, there are interactive art activities, and raffle prizes.
Everyone is encouraged to arrive promptly at 10 a.m. and join the event’s fun atmosphere by wearing wild and wonderful hats and brightly colored outfits. So unlike Alice in Wonderland’s White Rabbit, don’t be late for this fun-filled morning.
If you’d also like to see the Alliance Theatre’s show Looking Glass Alice, get discounted tickets for the Mad Hatter event and Looking Glass Alice. There are some restrictions, so read the rules before purchasing. I’ve heard Looking Glass Alice is an incredible show. It ends on May 2.
The 2010 Mad Hatter event is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company, Comcast and Atlanta Parent Magazine.
