Planning to head to the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park this weekend? Looking for something to entice the kids to roam the craft booths? This could be it.
Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America with Adventure Base 100, a traveling exhibit that will be in Atlanta at the Dogwood Festival this weekend.
Adventure Base 100 is an interactive 10,000 sq. ft. (yes 10,000!!!) campus where participants can try their skill at a ropes course, experience the IMAX-like video in the “Go Scouting! Dome,” and tour the traveling museum, plus many other activities and prizes too. You must be at least 4 ft. tall and weigh less than 200 pounds to try the ropes course.
The Dogwood Festival is a great family event. There is also a kids entertainment stage with various performers throughout the weekend.
