What: Junior Golf Lessons (ages 7 – 17)
Where: PGA Tour Superstore
When: Wed. and Fri. Year Round (schedules vary with season and location, call before you go)
Cost: FREE (but you must call to reserve a spot as space is limited)
Spring will be here soon (we hope) and with it The Masters golf tournament. If after watching a week of the world’s best golfers you’re kids are looking to play, check out the PGA Tour Superstore’s FREE junior golf clinics.
Each clinic is 30 minutes and covers a specific skill. Beginners are tested on their skills and can graduate to an intermediate class. Upon successful completion of all the skills tests from the beginner level, the player earns a GIMME (gift) card to the PGA Tour Superstore and graduates to the intermediate level. Upon graduation from the intermediate level, each student receives a GIMME card to the PGA Tour Superstore, a graduation certificate, AND a certificate for a free individual lesson. Each level consists of more advanced instruction and harder skills challenges. Players also learn the rules and etiquette of the game which is part of the skills tests for each level.
PGA Tour Superstore has locations in Roswell, Kennesaw and Duluth (I’m still upset that the Buckhead store closed). Currently the golf clinics are on Wed. and Fri., but call the location near you before you go to make sure they have a pro available and space before you head out. In addition to the lessons, my kids love putting on the green and chipping in the practice area.
PGA Tour Superstore also offers FREE junior tennis clinics. For more FREE Golf Lessons, see the Junior Golf Lessons at Victoria Bryant State Park.

Hey, thank you for the info! I actually carve seens inside of golf balls and promote them, despite the fact that thats about as close to the game of golf as I get, lol!
the Kennesaw store said no free lessons until June possibly, so other than $20 lessons for 30 minutes, this is a dead deal!
We went to the Duluth store just a few weeks ago and they had free lessons. That’s where this was filmed. So I guess you have to call the store to make sure. Thanks for the heads up on Kennesaw.
I work at the Duluth store. Thanks for sharing this with everyone Sue.
Thanks Corinne. It’s a great program.

Golf is my favorite game, sometimes we play golf with bets.*”*
Dear Fieldtripswithsue,
This might be off topic, however, Not everyone can have junior golf lessons and become a child golf prodigy like Tiger Woods. It is most important to keep the game fun when introducing your child to junior golf lessons and playing golf. Have you ever noticed how a junior just taking up the game of golf? If allowed, they will take a very natural golf swing. The young golfers are not thinking about golf instruction or golf mechanics. Let your child enjoy learning the game by their own trial and error until THEY are ready to take the game more seriously. You can keep it fun away from the golf course by keeping a junior golf journal at home. Remember we play the game because it is fun.
I look forward to your next post
