My favorite food in the world is ice cream. So you can bet I’ll be in line on March 23 for a free scoop of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. The boys and I did this last year and the second best part (the first being the ice cream) was the store employees. Unlike some places that offer a free scoop, but they make it so small that you can tell they really don’t want to give you free ice cream, the folks at Ben and Jerry’s mean it. If I didn’t have my children with me, I might have even gone back for seconds.

Love ice cream as much as I do? Then you might be interested in a free tour of Mayfield Dairy’s processing plant in Brasleton, Ga. Although they package the milk here, not the ice cream, you can get a cone after the tour.
