I love to swim, but hate getting into the water when it’s cold outside. However, kids love to swim anytime so if you’re stumped on what to do on a cold or rainy day, try swimming. The South Cobb Aquatic Center is more fun than your average pool and is only moments off I-20, just a few miles from Six Flags Over Georgia. There is a zero entry portion for the little ones, a free swim area and diving board for the real swimmers. In addition, a lazy river, three story slide and play structure including silly shower, dump tank, small slide and waterfall. At $2 per child and $3 per adult, it’s a bargain too. You don’t have to be a Cobb County resident to get these prices either.
The facility is nicely kept, locker rooms are clean and include showers, bathrooms and lockers. There is also a family bathroom. The facility also offers a birthday party room for FREE! At least free once you pay the swim fee, there is no extra charge, but you do need to book the room. Want to learn more about a birthday party at So.
