Coca-Cola has always been a maverick in advertising – coupons, sports marketing, the use of celebrities, all pioneered by Coca-Cola. Many of the original ads and premiums are on display. If you aren’t into advertising, you’ll still enjoy this interactive attraction.
My older boys loved the 4-D movie, although they came out stating it would have “terrified” my then 4 year old. The little guy was happy hanging with the Coca-Cola polar bear as he waited. There is a bottling factory that actually bottles coke for distribution at the end of the museum – sort of a departing goody bag. Of course, my children’s favorite attraction was sampling all of the 60 different Coca-Cola products from around the world. The Beverly is quite interesting, although not as bitter as I remembered it. Maybe my taste buds have changed.
The retail store is pretty awesome too and boasts lots of recycled and “upcycled” products. I’ve got my eye on a Kathleen Plate necklace.
