Where: Lilburn, GA
When: Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, 10 am – 5 pm

Thanks to Valerie Hoff with WXIA for sending along this fabulous deal. I’ve never been to the Yellow River Game Ranch, but I’ve always heard great things about it. Monday may be the day we go. They’re offering $1 admission all day.
The game ranch is set on 24 acres and has more than 600 birds and animals indigenous to Georgia that you can feed and pet. The Ranch is also famous as the home of General Beauregard Lee, the groundhog that predicts the beginning of spring, or the continuance of winter each year on Ground Hog Day.

Hello:
It’s January 5 2011. Whats up? You have any deal for this year?
We Floridians have 4 kids who love to visit Grandmom Nella in Atlanta during winter holidays. If you hear of a farm environment offering hayrides & petting zoo, we’d love to know!
Tabitha, Try the Rock Ranch or Cagles Dairy. You may also want to try the farms listed in this post. although this is for pumpkin patches, they may do hayrides and have a petting zoo during other parts of the year as well. http://www.fieldtripswithsue.com/2011/10/fall-activities-pumpkin-patches-near-atlanta-2.html.
If you find a good place, let me know.
