Trivia about me, when I moved to Atlanta, my first job was at the World of Coca-Cola in Underground Atlanta. I always felt like I was taking a history of advertising class by working there (and I love all things advertising, my favorite TV show is Mad Men). Coca-Cola truly was a maverick in advertising – coupons, sports marketing, the use of celebrities, all pioneered by Coca-Cola.
If you aren’t into advertising, you’ll still enjoy this interactive museum. There’s a great 4-D movie, a chance to get your picture with a giant polar bear and my children’s favorite, all the Coke products you can drink. The retail store is pretty awesome too and boasts lots of recycled and “upcycled” products. I’m still wishing for a Kathleen Plate necklace.

I would love to go again–I went when I was very preggo at about 28 weeks to CC world…my mom anda dada from Ny thought it was very cool and I bought my “still-in belly” daughter a medium sized Coke Polar baer-she is now 4 yrs old and asked me on several occassions–”Where is this from?” and I would love to win free tickets and have her let her own polar bear “visit” where he came from-I even have a preggo picture of me and polar bear from 2005…. hope .. I live all the way in snowy and cold Michigan. I would love to win tickets since we’ll be in Atlanta on Tuesday and Wednesay on our way to sunshine. I’d heard such fabulous things about World of Coke and I wouldn’t think of drinking anything else.
