Trivia about me, when I moved to Atlanta, my first job was at the World of Coca-Cola in Underground Atlanta. I always felt like I was taking a history of advertising class by working there (and I love all things advertising, my favorite TV show is Mad Men). Coca-Cola truly was a maverick in advertising – coupons, sports marketing, the use of celebrities, all pioneered by Coca-Cola.
If you aren’t into advertising, you’ll still enjoy this interactive museum. There’s a great 4-D movie, a chance to get your picture with a giant polar bear and my children’s favorite, all the Coke products you can drink. The retail store is pretty awesome too and boasts lots of recycled and “upcycled” products. I’m still wishing for a Kathleen Plate necklace.

I absolutely LOVE all things Coca-Cola….we just moved to Huntsville, Alabama and I’ve been planning a trip to Atlanta just to go to the museum and factory there…..Free tickets would be wonderful!!

I live all the way in snowy and cold Michigan. I would love to win tickets since we’ll be in Atlanta on Tuesday and Wednesay on our way to sunshine. I’d heard such fabulous things about World of Coke and I wouldn’t think of drinking anything else.

Ha, that’s a good one. I tried it again the last time I was there and it didn’t make me pucker nearly as much as it did the first time I tried it. Maybe my tastes have changed.
