Big trucks, little boys, it’s a match made in heaven. On Jan. 9, give your little guy a piece of heaven and go to the Beef O Brady, Dairy Queen, Advanced Auto Parts , Monster Jam presented by Ford Motor Company. Seriously, how many title sponsors can you sell? A lot I guess, which is good because they can afford to give me tickets to give away on the blog. The show includes the ever popular Grave Digger. This guy has been around a while. I remember him from when my 10 year old was in preschool. Superman’s driver Chad Fortune is from Roswell, so there’s even a hometown boy involved.
If you go, make sure to get Pit Passes. They’re $5 at the door or free from participating Dairy Queen stores. The Pit Party starts at 2 pm and is down on the dirt. Kids can see the trucks up close, shake hands with the drivers and get autographs and pictures. The Grave Digger line gets reallllyyy long, so go early if you want an autograph. There are sponsor booths (rumor has it Dairy Queen might give coupons for Blizzards. Mmmm) and entertainment including a clown from the upcoming Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Circus.

I’m a 3-year-new transplant from Southern California, and my husband and I have been talking about indoctrinating ourselves in the south completely with a visit to Monster Jam. Our 3 1/2-year-old son loves dirt and trucks, so we figured it might be a fun outing for him. Thanks for the heads up on free pit passes!

I have an 11 year old son that has special needs. He is the light of my life. He has Sensory Processing Disorder which for most children with this can’t handle loud noises. But for some reason with Tyler, he loves the loud noises of Monster Jam (must be that boy thing!). He absolutely loves Grave Digger and all the guys. This would be such a thrill to send him to this. Hi, Sue, Love your site. I look to it regularly to find inexpensive / free activities for my children & I. I’ve always been a penny pincher, but since losing my job in June, I’ve really had to tighten the entertianment belt. Have always wanted to see a monster truck rally – but again with the penny’s. FIrst time to Atlanta Ga we are there for some meeting but love monster truck stuff we have been to springfield Il and other places to see them love tractor pulls and much more it is my husband birthday on jan 8th and mine is the 9th we will be getting into atlanta ga on the 8th
I have a 10 yr old son and he would have a blast going to do guy stuff. He LOVES the trucks, has not stop talking about it since we have seen the commericals. I am a single mother and my son has not interaction with his dad. We have a male mentor at our church that spends time with him as well as my father and this would be a great opportunity for him to create more of a male bond with them.

i have just recently getting to see my kids been through a messy divorce also watching next doors neighbor grandchild that is going through a tough time his grandmother on life support she is raising him he never been to any kind of show although my kids have but haven’t got to take them in two yrs would love to take them ……. help me make one kids dream and two a great memory of things we used to do
