Clinics Offer Chance to Play on Hawks Court

If your child is a sports fan, loves basketball or has pro sports aspirations, this is for you! The Hawks’ Saturday series of youth clinics and camps help ensure that young fans are not just spectators – but active players in the game. Each clinic offers the unique experience of training on the Hawks practice court at Philips Arena. With a 7:1 player to coach ratio to ensure individualized instruction, each clinic concentrates on specific fundamentals of the game. The program is lead by former Hawks guard Charlie Criss and the Atlnata Hawks Basketball Development team. The next Saturday clinic is scheduled for Saturday, January 3oth on the Hawks practice court. Each session will be separated by age (9 – 10:15 am: ages 7-10; 10:30 – 11:45: ages 11-14). Each participant receives a ticket to a future Hawks game (and discounts for family and friends), the opportunity to showcase skills on the Hawks practice court, and instruction from the Hawks Basketball Development Team.
