Children's Museum Membership Good at 160 Other Museums

What: Gift Idea that Keeps on Giving
Where: Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta (and then more than 160 children’s museums across the country!)
When: Holidays, birthdays, Mondays
Cost: $125

Lots of Atlanta area attractions offer reciprocal memberships with similar venues in other states, but the Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s reciprocal program struck me as a really fantastic deal.

For $125, you get a family membership (2 adults and household children) for one year. Now through Dec. 31, join or renew your membership and receive double guest passes. Buy a gift membership through Jan. 10 and receive a $10 Imagine It! gift card.

Those are great deals, but what I really like is the list of more than 160 children’s museums around the country where your membership is honored. In Georgia, your membership allows you admittance to the Georgia Children’s Museum in Macon and the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids in Gainesville (this museum has been on my list for years). Vacationing at the South Carolina beach and run into a rainy day? Your membership is good at The Children’s Museum of South Carolina in Myrtle Beach and the Children’s Museum of the LowCountry in Charleston. The Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga is included too.

I’m sure there are other great membership deals out there. If you know of any that seem exceptionally good, post a comment and let us know.
