Thanks to Patty Harris for sending this along. The Southeastern Railway Museum is hosting Disney’s A Christmas Carol Train Tour. This is the 33rd stop on a 40 city tour for this traveling show. The event includes a 3D sneak peek at the upcoming Disney film “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carey. In addition to the preview, there are carolers, decorations, giveaways and more. The movie comes to theaters Nov. 6.

Attendance for the tour is first come, first served. There will not be advanced or timed tickets. It takes about 30 – 45 minutes to visit the exhibit and watch the sneak peek of the film. There is parking available on site and the train is handicap and wheelchair accessible. As you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal for the museum and a lot for the volunteer staff, so, most of the museum exhibits will NOT be open during the event. However, I’m sure they’d love to invite you back for another visit.
