Where: Shelton’s Fireworks, Fair Play, SC
Last weekend we traveled to Northern Virginia for a lacrosse tournament. On the way home, after several pleas from the backseat, we stopped at Shelton’s Fireworks in Fair Play, SC to purchase fireworks for the 4th. Perhaps this isn’t a true field trip, but as I walked through the warehouse, there were so many happy men and boys that it seemed perhaps it was a great field trip for them. A Wal Mart sized store with nothing but things that light up, blow up and smoke, it was a boy (both big and little) paradise. I showed the boys that weren’t on the trip the video below and both just said “Whoa!”

thanks, tallpaul shelton——we believe in safety and purblished the cpsc instructions on the bag that we put the fireworks in at checkout time.
We had a great time. Your staff was very helpful, they had great suggestions and knew what was in stock. Whatever we were looking for, they knew where to find it and which package was especially good. I always like going to stores that have knowledgeable staff.
