Fee Free Weekend at the National Parks

Cost: Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservations, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.

This weekend is the second Fee Free Weekend of the summer at 100 select US National Parks and several within Georgia including Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and the Chickamauga and Chattahoochee National Military Park. The video is a promotion for the Chickamauga Battlefield. If you’re headed south, you can also visit Cumberland Island National Seashore, Fort Frederica National Monument or Fort Pulaski National Monument as part of the fee free weekend.

An added bonus for the kids, register for the REI’s Passport to Adventure program and children submit a voucher for a prize after enjoying one outdoor adventure.
