Last week my middle child was in camp at The Cooler in Alpharetta. It’s a long haul from our house, so the youngest and I decided to head over to Northpoint Mall to play on the soft playground. He had a great time climbing, jumping and playing and it was a nice break from the heat.
Simon Malls Kidgit’s Club offers great activities for the pre-school set. There is a $5 membership fee, but that gets you into all the events and eligible for the goodies and give-a-ways all year. Coming up this summer is a series of Safe Summer Fun programs; a Red, White and Blue Day; Arts and Crafts; and back to school parties.
The two programs that caught my eye are the Cookie Monster Party at Gwinnett Place Mall on July 15 and the Pirate Adventure at Town Center Mall on Aug. 19. So if you’re looking to get out of the heat and tired of the pool, check out the mall.
