The first Saturday of every month, the High Museum of Art welcomes Fulton County residents to enjoy the museum for free. This month get an extra bonus, the new exhibit Water Lilies by Claude Monet is opening the same day. If you bring the kids, I recommend reading Linnea in Monet’s Garden before going. It’s one of my favorite books. It chronicles Linnea and her friend Mr. Bloom’s trip to Paris to visit Monet’s home Giverny. Many of Monet’s most famous paintings, including his water lilies, were inspired by his gardens at Giverny.
