What: Tutankhamun The Golden King and The Great Pharaohs
Where: Atlanta Civic Center
When: Exhibit closes Sunday, May 17
Cost: Family Four Packs for $46

If you haven’t see the King Tut exhibit at the Atlanta Civic Center, make some time this week. This fantastic show closes on Sunday and with the Family Four Pack price, you have no excuse to miss it.

We saw a similar exhibit in Philadelphia a couple of years ago and I like the Atlanta show better. One gallery felt like walking on to the dig site. My oldest was so enthralled I wasn’t sure he would have enough time to see the whole thing. Even the 4 year old was amazed at the scans of King Tut’s mummy at the very end. Amidst the gold, jewelry and statues, there is even an ancient Egyptian toilet seat. I wonder if the boy king had trouble remembering to put the seat down.
