FREE Parking Makes Aquarium Deal Sweeter!

What: Me & Mommy (or daddy or nanny) Deal
When: Now through March 31, 2009
Where: Georgia Aquarium
Cost: $20 for one adult, free admission for children age 5 and under (max 4 children per paid adult
Bonus: FREE Parking!!

The Georgia Aquarium has a great deal going for Moms (or caregivers) of young children, but the best part, in my opinion, is the FREE parking that goes with it. I recently read that women are more likely to purchase a product online if it includes free shipping, even if the product with shipping is the same price. I feel that way about parking too. I hate paying for parking. I even think twice about purchasing a membership if I’m going to have to pay for parking each time I go. So even though this aquarium deal is good, it’s the FREE parking that will make me take advantage of it. How do you feel about parking? Please take my poll on the right. If you are reading this via email or RSS, click here and take the poll on the right.

So what exactly is the deal you ask? Now through March 31, twenty dollars gets an adult and up to four under 5 admissions to The Aquarium and includes parking. The offer is valid Monday – Friday, tickets can only be purchased online here and you have to have the little ones with you when you go.

So grab your child’s best friends and head to the aquarium. My favorites are the otters, the seaweed looking fish and those HUGE crabs that look like something from a sci-fi movie. My preschooler was a bit spooked at the Deepo 4-D show. This show requires an additional ticket, so know the children you are going with before purhcasing additional tickets for this movie. Keeping the 3-D glasses on the kids was bad enough, but when the rain came down and the chair jumped under him, it was a bit much. That said, the older kids loved it.
