On Wed., Dec. 10 at 4 pm, That Puppet Guy, aka Lee Bryan will perform The North Pole Fa la la la Follies at the Northside Branch of the Atlanta Public Library. This is a great opportunity to see a professional puppet show for FREE (see Lee’s credentials below). My children ages 4, 10 and 8, as well as my 80 year-old mother loved the Summer Reading Show (video above).
A synopsis… Get ready for hilarious holiday hijinx of some talented residents of the North Pole as they perform in their annual talent show. The zany and colorful cast of characters includes a wisecracking fruitcake, a musical goose, Mr Bah Humbug, tumbling teddy bears, a duo of dancing deer, the “not-so-abominable” snowman and much much, more! This show will “sleigh” you!
This sparkling holiday production combines music, live vocal performances and a variety of beautifully costumed hand puppets and rod puppets.
Lee is a nationally recognized solo-puppeteer who combines live vocals and original music with innovative puppet designs for wholesome family fun! Lee is a two-time grant recipient from the prestigious Jim Henson Foundation, Inc. His professional credits include feature film work with the Muppets and an Emmy nomination for his puppetry work for Public Broadcasting.
Grab the kids or leave instructions for the nanny and head to the library, the show is great and the price is right.
